Conscious Family Law & Mediation LLC provides divorce mediation and collaborative family law services.
The information on this website is general and educational. It is not legal advice, and viewing it does not create an attorney-client relationship.

1. Not Legal Advice
The information on this website — including articles, FAQs, downloads, and general descriptions of divorce, mediation, and family law — is provided for general educational purposes only.
It is not legal advice, and it should not be relied upon as a substitute for advice from a licensed attorney about your specific circumstances.
Family law varies by state and changes over time. Every situation is different. Always consult a qualified attorney before making decisions about your divorce, parenting plan, finances, or legal rights.
2. No Attorney-Client Relationship
Viewing this website, reading our content, downloading a resource, subscribing to our newsletter, or submitting a contact form does not create an attorney-client relationship with Conscious Family Law or any of its attorneys.
An attorney-client relationship is formed only when both you and the firm sign a written engagement agreement that defines the scope of the representation.
Until that agreement is in place, please do not send us confidential or time-sensitive information you would not want disclosed.
3. Communication and Confidentiality
Email, website forms, scheduling tools, and messaging platforms are not guaranteed to be secure and may not be appropriate for sensitive or confidential information.
Information you send before an engagement agreement exists may not be protected by attorney-client privilege.
Response times are not guaranteed unless otherwise stated in a signed engagement agreement.
4. Mediator Neutrality
When the firm serves as a neutral mediator, it does not represent either spouse and does not provide legal advice to either party.
A mediator's role is to facilitate communication and help both parties reach their own agreement. Each spouse is encouraged to have the resulting agreement reviewed by independent counsel before signing.
Serving as a mediator in a matter is different from representing a client, and the two roles are not interchangeable.
5. No Guarantee of Outcome
Conscious Family Law does not guarantee any particular result.
Descriptions of past matters, testimonials, and examples reflect specific situations and are not a promise or prediction about the outcome of your matter.
The cost, timeline, and result of any divorce depend on many factors, including the conduct of the other party and decisions outside the firm's control.
6. Educational Content
Articles, blog posts, downloads, emails, and other resources on this site are for general information only.
They are not individualized legal, financial, or tax advice, and they may not reflect the most current law in your jurisdiction.
You are responsible for deciding whether and how any general information applies to your own situation.
7. Third-Party Links and Referrals
This website may link to or reference third-party resources, including financial professionals, counselors, or government agencies.
Any link or referral is offered for convenience and does not constitute an endorsement or a guarantee of the quality, availability, or suitability of that resource.
8. Engagement Agreement Controls
If you retain the firm, your representation will be governed by a separate signed engagement agreement.
That agreement defines the scope of services, fees, communication, and responsibilities of each party.
If anything on this website conflicts with your signed engagement agreement, the engagement agreement controls.
9. Jurisdiction
Conscious Family Law & Mediation LLC is based in Boulder, Colorado, and its attorneys are licensed to practice in Colorado.
Nothing on this website is intended as a solicitation for representation in any jurisdiction where the firm's attorneys are not licensed to practice.
